jake and i wrapped up a busy couple of months travelling with a big 10 day trip to europe. we flew into rome and spent 3 nights there and joined a tour that then took us to sorrento. on the way to sorrento, we stopped in naples and got to see pompeii and mt vesuvius, which was cool to see especially after learning about it in elementary school! we also got to see the spectacular amalfi coast with stops in positano, amalfi, ravello, and a whole day in capri. it was amazing. our tour was filled with a bunch of 90 year olds from long island, so it was like being with the cast of everybody loves raymond. it was actually so much fun. from naples, we then flew to paris for a few days alone there. we had a blast catching all the sights, going to romantic dinners, shopping at the vintage boutiques, and running into justin bieber in the elevator of our hotel. im so glad we were able to go on this trip and a special thanks to both sets of grandparents and my aunt for watching keya and giving her lots of attention while we were away. what a fun time!
