after i broke my wrist, i went to stay with my mom and dad in ohio with keya for a few weeks until i realized that i have a husband and an actual house of my own and wasnt a teen mom. i still needed help with keya (and myself), especially because jake travels all the time for work, so we decided to hire a nanny to help us out until i was all healed up. i went online and found katie and her timing off school worked out perfectly for the two months that we would need her. she walked into our house with her neon headbands and giant sunglasses and has instantly become a part of our family. keya and i love her (jake prob gets annoyed by us), and we have had the best time. after i got better, we decided to have katie continue spending time with us, which keya loves, so she comes a couple times a week to help out, so i can go to the gym, run errands, get groceries, and do all the little things that are hard to do with a 1 year old. thanks katie!
