hiiiiiiiiiii. last week started out with a bang when i had a 4n reunion up in wisc-hizzle. seema and nas came up and there was a lot of loud walking, loud talking, gossipying, life discussions, round tables, and bravo tv watching. so fun. i miss my roommates and the 5 ridiculous years we had together. i honestly think we had the BEST time ever being single and living in downtown chicago. awe. tear drops.

anywho, moving right along, on friday the u of i girls came down for a slumber party and then the next morning we all drove up to kohler for a fantabulous weekend getting spa treatments (gentle rocking included), lots of working out (aka walking from one jacuzzi to another and then making hard choices between steam room and sauna), and eating - obviously. friday night was ridiculous and i had way too much champagne and there might have been some crazy muquabala style dancing like my bachlorette party and saturday farah challenged rami and rita to arm wrestle and things got rull awkward (im still waiting for this). between 2am and 7am on saturday morning, all the girls managed at one point sneak into keyas room and stare at her rolled up body to "check on her" because apparently they dont trust me or jake. cant blame them. jkjkjkjjjkj grandparents, we are responsible we swear. anywho it was a very fun week indeed.

being alone with kball for an entire week in freezing january wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. it was just...exhausting - physically and mentally. i never understood when stay at home moms would complain about never having time to do simple things like put on makeup and stuff. well i found out the hard way. but it was fun and it was nice to be a little independent, although i missed jakey a TON. just when i was about to go slightly insane with the lack of adult interaction, lekha came to town to hang out and give me company and help me with keya. we had a romantic date on thurs night and then slept in my bed until kball woke up and we made her sleep in between us. it was slightly creepy but everything we had imagined when we were 16, o. her pregnant tummy was so cute and keya and pregnurr napped together on friday while i finally got to take a longer than 2 minute shower and wash my hair, look cute, put on some makeup, and get ready for my hubby to come home from nyc. with prego in town, jake and i got to go on a date for the first time in a long time and we went to a cute little restaurant in waukesha that turned out to be sooo good. yum! thanks lekha maushi for helping me with krolls - she cant wait to babysit gulab (or steal all his toys and drool on them).

three months!!!!!!!!!!!!

im gonna go ahead and throw out that keya doesnt know how to sit up yet, which is slightly noticeable based on the pictures above. o. but my little kay kay is three months old and more amazing than ever. her cheeks continue to get bigger and she continues to get smarter. she is learning that she has hands, can sit alone for long amounts of time, is almost taller than me, and tries to talk...a lot. she is absolutely adorable and im so proud to be her mother. i love my baby!!!!!!!!!
