reality set in on tuesday when my parents left to go back to ohio. my mom stayed with us for a month and was a HUGE HUGE help. i dont know what we would have done without her. she cooked, cleaned, did laundry, bathed keya, watched her when we napped, etc. it was awesome! now its time for us to be parents...for real. we are trying to figure out a good schedule for keya while trying to manage the sleepless nights. i always knew, but never realized, how hard it would be to do simple things - like take a nice long shower, make dinner, or go out of the house. it will get easier, and we are still enjoying ourselves - and learning.

on friday, keya will be a month old. i cant believe it! shes such a little burritohead fruitrollup.
