jamaica!

we had a great family trip to jamaica. we stayed in ochos rios to be close to jakes cousin sara (she lives in port antonio and is in the peace corp). the hotel was ok, but it was all inclusive and jake and i were able to go on a date every single night! keya had a blast in the pool, she was afraid of the sand - shocker - and was OBSESSED with balls, duckies, and orange cones. obsessed is actually a very big understatement.

after the very early and long flight to montego bay. keya was sooooo good on  the plane!

enjoying the warm weather with mommys sunnies.

system overload!

having a ball with grandpa even though it was freezing that day

loving the pool

one of the games we played...throwing fishys down the stream

it was really rainy this day but it looked so pretty

keya found a doggy!

k loved the all inclusive (so did we - no cooking or cleanup)

auntie daboom comes to visit...before she was escorted out by security - HAHAHAH.

valentines day with my favorite person!

before dinner - nautical theme!

ducky?

whatsthatwhatsthatwhatsthat? CONE!

nbd, enjoying a cocktail at the swim up.

beautiful!

our date afternoon at the bar next door.

on our walk

this picture sums up the majority of the trip. this little boy was from england and had a soccor ball that keya wanted - no NEEDED. everyday, for 8 days, he would play with the ball right in front of her, she would scream BALL and he would have to give it to her. for 8 days.  seriously.

happy 30th

my parents 30th wedding anniversary was january 11 but because we had a spontaneous family gathering (you are welcome people) with everyone, we decided to celebrate with a night out. and by night out, i mean 1 hour out before keyas bedtime. as you can see, things were starting to meltdown when this picture was taken, as keya decided that she was hot and took off her shoes and socks at the dinner table. where are her manners? tsk tsk.

dinner at senor tomas

thats amoreeeee

keya went on a date with mr. lachy foley a few weeks ago and she decided to share moments from their romantic evening. they decided to dine at chateau ashley, the finest eatery in bristlecone pine. overlooking the golf course, chateau ashley caters only from the best and most local restaurants in town.  the couple ordered off the menu and chose a papa murphys pizza. these lovebirds are already foodies, indeed.

light laughter, hushed conversations...our spies tell us they were giggling about duckies and balls.

these two always bring their chaperones, this time it was their fathers overlooking the date.

our photographers were only able to take a couple pictures before security told us to leave. we hear that there might have been a meltdown as bedtime was right around the corner.  lets hope the couple can make it through this shaky time. we wish them the best!

what is this white stuff yo?

we didnt really get much snow this winter, thank goodness...but when we got back from ohio (after spending 2 weeks there trying to recoup from my surgery) there was snow everywhere and we decided to show keya what it was. she was not a fan. we think its because she was hot. shocker.

                                                        LETS DO THIS GUYS!
                                                      I CANT FLIPPING WALK.
ok. so...what exactly are we doing right now?
daddy, take my glove off please. thanks. no? WHAT.

I DONT LIKE IT. IM HOT.
