we moved!

jake and i just became owners of our first house together! we just moved to hartland, wisconsin after living in chicago for many years. the decision to move was semi hard, because all our friends live in chicago and i had a great job there too. but with jakes travelling increasing (and being mostly in wisconsin) and then getting pregnant, the decision became an easy one to make. i am excited about our new life here and this new chapter and i am thrilled that we were able to sell our condo (it was only listed for 8 days!!!) in this economy AND being able to buy such an awesome house with all the new rules and regulations regarding loans. did you know that the rules might change even more where pregnant women might be declined a loan because they might quit their job?? phew, im glad that didnt happen to us!

heres to a new adventure living in the suburbs in the great cheese state!

our new bloggy blog

so i decided to start a blog after being inspired by my friends and sister in law who have blogs. i love to see all their pictures since they live far away, so thought i would do the same.

a little bit about me:

-grew up in dublin, ohio

-went to school at the university of illinois in champaign

-lived with roommates right downtown in chicago for 5 years

-worked in the southside for 4.5 years

-married my husband jake in june 2009 in the cayman islands

-am expecting our first child in october 2010

-i like to travel, eat, and party with my hubby
